How to make a dinosaur



This tutorial will show you how to make an origami dinosaur. The diagrams are annotated with step by step instructions. Please use the video for additional help.

 Fold and unfold a square piece of paper to make folds as shown.
  Collapse.
  Your paper should look like this.
 Crease as shown.
  Fold the top flap up using the creases created earlier.
  Your paper should look like this. Repeat steps 4 and 5 on the other side.
 Your paper should look like this.
  Fold the flaps down on both sides as shown.
  You have now created a bird base.
 Crease the tip of the triangle and sink fold (push the tip inside)

  Your paper should look like this.
  Fold the small flaps down as shown. Repeat on both sides.
 Raise the top flaps on both sides.
  Reverse fold as shown. This will later become the tail of your dinosaur.

  Open the top part of the tail.
 Narrow the tail.
  Ear fold as shown to form a leg.
  Yor paper should look like this. Repeat steps 15 to 17 on the other side.
 Crimp fold to start forming the neck.
  Narrow the neck on both sides.
  Crimp fold the leg as shown to move it back.
 Reverse fold.
  Reverse fold.
  Repeat on the other leg.
 Crimp fold as shown to raise the neck.
  Form a head.
  Fold the tip inside to shorten the head. Shape arms.
 



Your dinosaur is now finished.
